This is my worst fear, not being able to breathe.
I have chills... You can tell how hard he's fighting and it looks like he's crying. God bless him
Dear Lord Jesus bless This man and make Him well.
In high school this happened to a student because a teacher didn’t take him serious and told him to go alone to the nurse. He ended up collapsing on the stairs and dying right there. So sad! He was only 16yrs old. He had his whole life to live still.
omfg who does that!!! HOW SAD!
@Jessica -aka JessaNae I completely agree with you! Because he was a jokester. So she didn’t take him serious. She later stated she was unaware of him having asthma. This was 2000 -2001 time and just in Nov 2019 another student collapsed in the gym and died. He was also showing signs of distress and wasn’t heard. Better yet they didn’t have proper equipment to help him. You would think they learned the first time around. This is very sad! Now that I’m a mom myself. I’ve always told the boys if it’s serious go to the nurse. Don’t worry about getting in trouble. There life is way more important! I don’t understand how the school gets away with this? I can no longer find the article about the first student. It was there until this new issue happened.
This so horribly sad and ridiculous on the teachers end!! I tell my son all the time if he feels that ill and a teacher tells him he can't go see the nurse then he needs to walk out and go anyways!! A teacher did that to me when I was young and I had pneumonia... I was a healthy kid though but still, no teacher should refuse a kid seeing a nurse! The nurse can determine whether a child is actually sick or not!! Certainly not worth it!!!*
Poor man.
Asthma is no joke, and sometimes people don't take it seriously (not talking about this situation), and young people die because they don't go to the hospital soon enough!

@danflynn, we miss you on live rescue. Please come back soon!!!
These guys are literally angels. God bless them
Asthma's bad in my family, Dad died from Asthma induced Heart Failure, i've been like this several times, even requiring resuscitation.
Dedo,o.
Might sound dumb but what does intubated mean?
@Angel Marandola Ahhh, ok. Thanks 😎
When they put a breathing tube down your throat
I’m 13 never been intubated but I’ve had like 30 asthma attacks asthma can be very scary if uncontrolled.
I carry an inhaler everywhere. It’s really scary
Is very scary. I used to have asthma. When I was in first grade every time I come to my class after gym or recess and my desk is behind the AC and hits my sweaty back and that’s what cause asthma. At home I had to be out of school literally a week and I couldn’t breathe and it would put me to sleep. But thank god I recovered and I had to do deal with asthma ever again since.
Dan driving? Titus must be feeling wild
And Dan is really more experienced be is also a nurse
Titus drove the man to the hospital
I think it's because they wanted the more experience provider with the poor guy.
Hi Monica video l love ❤️ 🍓
God bless that poor man.
this one stuck with me since the first time i saw it . i hope he's alright . been there when i found out i was allergic to aspirin while i had pneumonia . so scary ....
I've been in an ambulance cause asthma more then 5 times, I'm so thankful for these people man but sometimes they walk up to casually though an realize 10 min in it's alot more serious like I've had multiple firemen say I'm fine a paremedic pulls up an says all lung fields are failing etc an got me the help an the firefighters were kinda clueless but most of them are good at what they do an I appreciate all of them for the help
That brought tears. 😢 I hope he's doing better.
poor guy, i hope hes doing better now!!
👍😊👍
these guys are fkn heros
I think this hits everyone that sees this poor man. I hope he is able to be stable. I know it's so difficult with asthma. I have kids with it. I hope he is okay with asthma and covid.
me after one dab
Should've intubated him way earlier instead of just driving faster and pawning him off to the ED so they didn't have to do their jobs
That was exactly my comment! See this a million times in the ER
Asthma is nothing to play with. I loss a friend to this in our mid 20's. She left behind 3 very young daughters 😢.
I'm sorry for your loss 😔
Astma team in the house,i had 2 astma attack cheesh fkd up moments
I've been hospitalized countless times for deteriorating very very quickly and I've been intubated twice for severe brittle asthma. I'm more controlled now but it can come out of nowhere this made me cry I'm heartbroken for this poor man and I hope he continues to do well and improve
Oh God, this broke my heart and made me cry💔 .. This poor man feels that he will die and cannot breathe..Please, God help him🤲
Nothing in my life has compared to not being able to breathe
SAME!!! I cant imagine his struggles omg
Been in hospital 2 in my life because of a bad cold. not been in hospital since I was 4. Had some small asthma attacks but I learned how to take care of it. Not one asthmatic is the same.
Man, I know how it feels when you can't breathe. Them C-Pap machines also feel like it's taking your breath away. I have COPD and was taken by the squad several times. I felt like I was dying! Prayers for him! 🙏
In the beginning- oh,he just got a bit of asthma - I almost screamed at this video. When WE phone for the ambulance because our asthma is out of control- you better believe every word people- because we are at the struggle is getting too hard when we pick that phone up,trust me. And trust me,never never assume different. I’m a chronic asthmatic.I’ve had the pap machine.I’ve fought real hard to stay out the hospital, each time I get pneumonia,my lungs rattle with muck, the pumps don’t work,u know it’s time to say your in trouble. And,I’m an ex nurse !! And I’ve had my colleagues look after me and put me on high category risk in admissions unit !! This case went severe very quickly.but that’s asthma. But,you do well to remember, like I said to keep in mind that we’ve already been struggling for hours or days even and we r desperate by time we phone you.
@Glenda dale Jones Oh my!! 😱 My husband called the squad for me on Jan 9th..and I was struggling to breathe. I was in the hospital until the 14th. Although, it was rough I was also blessed it was just my COPD Exasperation. Usually, it's also pneumonia or bronchitis. No Pneumonia No Bronchitis No Flu No Covid God is Good!!
@Christina Cochran it is scary .I remember when I really was knocking on heavens door and I remember not caring,as if it wasn’t real and I felt numb . I cried when I was better,I felt scared afterwards.
@Glenda dale Jones 😱😢 I'm afraid of being incubated!
The same with me too! I have COPD and try to go days without calling for help. By then though, I'm struggling for real. It's so scary when you can't breathe. Some people don't understand until it happens to them. Stay safe! Praying for you! 🙏
And I came close to being ventilated because of my gases
He’s got the f*cking dollar sign on his arm....
In high school one time I had severe flu, and I can't breath. It's scary.
i don't think that compares to this
I’m a 37 year asthmatic male.. this has been me so many times. I’ve even had two comas from my asthma, very scary

Glad you’re here to talk about it. I have asthma and COPD, only one bad episode, so keeping my fingers crossed to remain that way. Stay safe and healthy.
Poor guy I'm asmatic I hope and pray that doesn't happen to me...
Love watching these guys and gals in action. One of my favorite TV show to watch. Thank you to every front line worker, I couldn't even imagine doing the stuff you guys do. ❤ Much love to y'all. Stay safe.
A&E please bring back Live PD 🥺
when did they stop showing them? Half way through the PD playlist
Sometimes I can't tell if I'm having an asthma attack or anxiety attack. Feels the same to me
@Kalie Vesely You don't really at first, which is the reason so many people call 911 for it. People present at the ED for a simple panic attack all the time because they literally feel like they're dying. Asthma attacks are clearly more dangerous and more physiologically apparent as time goes on, but initially they feel very similar. A panic attack won't play out like this video, but they start the same way.
You'd know trust me
Hello
I’m early like a mf
He would have gotten IM epi where I am. I wonder if it isn't in their protocols?
I’m early 😎😎
Albuterol inhaler.
Your right the inhaler and/or neb does not always help
Hunny that wouldn't help in this situation I've been in it I went through about 30 pumps of my inhaler 8 seteriod treatments and the neb. It doesn't help sometimes
ayo early asf
