    • This video's title is wrong. The US navy did not rescue 40 passengers. Local boats, and the US navy, rescued 40 passengers. Please amend the title, or else you will be reported for breaching KGworld's T&Cs.

    • @Erich Hartmann just read the Wikipedia article, I live the description of the "WHOOP WHOOP PULL UP" Warning xD But seriously, how can a pilot perform such a difficult landing on water but mess up the standard landing procedure or rather EVERYTHING ELSE so badly? At least all but one poor soul made it out alive.

      DojandoDojando23 саат мурун
    • The pilots ignored procedures and lost all situational awareness due to not following basic rules in IMC conditions. This is not an example of a “perfect aqualanding”.

  • No need to dramatize by saying the 'jet fuel could explode at any moment'. Jet fuel does not explode, even gasoline does not explode. Jet Fuel is very similar to kerosene and has a high flash point. It would have actually been difficult to get it to light at this point. Otherwise it was a successful rescue and good to watch.

    Jon BebusJon Bebus6 күн мурун
    • @ALA ALAROY gasoline yes. Jet fuel not so much. It has a flash point of 100 degrees F and the vapor it produces is heavier than air so it will spread out along the ground. The ignition point of jet fuel is 410 degrees F. Unless there is a source of ignition nothing is going to happen other than an environmental mess.

      Jon BebusJon Bebus4 күн мурун
    • The fumes given off by gasoline can cause an explosion.

  • 100% hyperbole! "Crash" - No, landed in the water "Sinking" - It's a lagoon, how deep is it? "Trapped inside" - the doors are open and the people are sitting on their butts "Exploding Fuel" - What's going to set it off? I'm glad everyone got out safely. I'm proud the our Navy came to the rescue. But I'm REALLY tired of sensationalism passing for news.
